Forest Lake Country Store

I've always had a great experience at the country store.

What a great place. Wine tasting. We talked to Mark about the wines while we bought some of the wines. Will definitely be back. The pizzas looked delicious, but we had dinner before we got there.

Great sandwiches with homemade bread. Incredible beer selection. A perfect stopping point after biking or hiking on the adjacent trail.

Absolutely love the people who run this place and the food. We arrived early and picked a table away from other patrons to adhere to social distancing guidelines, and the next table over filled in they asked if it was ok that they sat there. The next large group that came in filled in the rest of the tables with no qualms about space or their proximity to other guests and began rearranging the tables to suit their needs. It was infuriating and asinine. Please keep your distance and be courteous to the people risking their lives to feed you.

Woo woo wee wow. I never leave reviews, but this place was a classic and needs one. It's the best. Regardless of their fullness of pre-orders they kept us, and we had the best Walleye fishing of our lives competing with potato pancakes. The selection of wine and beer was top notch and they had to count among many delicious paved options. My partner and I had food, drink, grocery store. It's worth it! Call and make sure you try this quality food!
