Byron's Jamaican Cusine - Lakeland

I normally eat at the place. But I got it delivered. I asked for extra gravy. Didn't get extra extra extra sauce. I even paid for it. And didn't get it at all. It was dry. The rice wasn't cooked all the way. I got brown chicken it was so dry. And the dressing that I got was dry. Mac and cheese was all right I didn't even have the extra sauce I paid for put on the side. so I can pour it on myself. Supposably they put it on it and not on the side when you buy. They should change that rule because at least I could see that I paid for the extra sauce. I will never get anything delivered from there again. I will only dine-in from now on. They might be having new people cooking there. They need the old people back!!

First I called in my order and the female was very rude. I ordered the Rasta pasta, was told it was ready in 10 min, I got there in 10 min. Pasta was cooled not hot , fresh, or tasteful. I could have made that at home.

You allow angry women on Mother’s Day to be a rude gal not good fa business!!Been in Lakeland 15years no wonder it’s not packed!!!!

I don’t know what happen. The food is normally pretty good especially the stew chicken but this time I rarely had any rice on my plate. I literally felt the bottom of the plate when I put my spoon in. It was not even an inch off the plate. The Mac and cheese was not good as usual and the meat did not taste as usual. Must be new employees! I go to the food truck on 98 north located by the citgo for now on.

The place was very clean and the cornbread was very good. Ordered j chicken, white meat with curry gravy. After receiving the order I was told that the curry gravy cost an extra 50 cents. I was okay with paying the extra 50 cents but unfortunately I didn't have any cash. I was told that they could not put the 50 cents on the card so they were not happy that they could not charge me. The main reason for my disappointment was that when I got home I saw I got dark meat which instead of white meat. I will not be going back,
