Great bakery and ice cream shop. The brownies are over the top good!

What a great café! They have milk alternatives and the varista worked with me to get my take-out latté just so. I grabbed 3 of their gluten free options, some of their British treats, and a brownie that looked irresistible. Their pricing is very fair, which is what allowed me to go a little crazy with my purchases. I will definitely make this a regular stop when in LakefieldDietary restrictions: They had lots if options for the gluten free eaters

The drinks at this restaurant are fantastic, and I absolutely adore the chocolate avalanche pastry.

The restaurant offers an excellent selection of UK teas and confectionery, as well as delicious ice cream (though not Kawartha). They also have unique baked goods available. However, the downside was that the reviewer was charged $58 for a dozen doughnuts and two ice creams, which was unexpected. The owner’s attitude was disappointing as she scoffed when the reviewer received a little extra ice cream for purchasing their doughnuts. Due to this experience, the reviewer does not plan to return. Furthermore, the doughnuts were not as great as expected, being quite dry, possibly due to being at the end of the day.

Great place for a great oce cream on a hot day! The jelly and cinnamon sugar-coated treats are fantastic.
