Timothy O'toole's Pub - Lake Villa

Stopped in during the first snow of the yr round 7.30pm. Kitchen was closing soon so we ordered a reuben sandwich to share. Drinks were made perfectly and the reuben sandwich was prob one of the best we have had in a while. We were very pleased withthe overall experience until the bartender decided to start spraying and cleaning the bar right next to us before we were done.Cleaner had a strong odor. It was 8.30...Still finishing our drink... hence the 3 star review

Second time here, first time eating. The bartender was friendly, funny, and informative. I got the California club because I didn't want to get too full, and still ended up taking half of it home. It was delicious!

Food and service is good, bar is good too. Really lost out on the back patio that used to be there on nice weather days. Sitting in the parking lot not really an ideal place to have a good atmosphere

The servers were excellent but food was just ok. I ordered full slap of ribs wrap Rib seemed to be kind of small for $20 I know the price of meat went up They should charge more for bigger meat???????????? Wrap was just ok It was$10 I would have paid few dollars more for bigger portions.. When people go out to eat they want big portions for fewdollars more. The place has nice tent outside Grear atmosphere If it had more portions I would have given 5stars????????????

Update. Still price gauging. Forgetting sauces. Charging 20.95 for a burger and Fries and put 15 fries. This place will never be more than mediocre and the owner should be ashamed of himself the way his restaurant operates. Loss my business again. I?ll try in 6 months again. They jacked up All their prices on the grub hub and door dash apps. The Reuben egg rolls were$9.99 now almost $14. The burger in house is $16. $21 on grub hub. Beware of them gauging. Horrible people. When the grubhub drivers cry when we all tip them $0 it?s not our problem the restaurants Jack the prices up 30%. Be happy they are gettingbusiness.
