Jake's Gull Lake - Lake Shore

The staff really needs to improve; they seemed disorganized and overwhelmed. I understand that we were part of a large party, but there should have been better attention to restocking the food and monitoring when items needed to be refilled. Our waitress, who I hope is just still getting the hang of things, seemed inexperienced. She spilled drinks on two separate occasions and kept forgetting to bring our cinnamon rolls to the table. Those rolls are probably the best thing on the menu and are truly what keeps this place going; I highly recommend ordering them! All in all, while I remember enjoying Jake's before it closed, the reopening needs some work. They really need to get organized and improve their service, especially given how busy it was on a Sunday morning.

Last night, we had a wonderful experience with burgers at this restaurant. They were incredibly tasty! The waitress was fantastic, and the gentleman who assisted us was very accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

After some renovations and improvements, this restaurant is much better than it used to be. We spent more time waiting to place our order than we did waiting for our food to be served. Overall, the experience has definitely improved.

The food was tasty, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
