I'm really pleased we chose to have breakfast here. We've visited Lake Placid ten times over the years, but this was our first experience at Downtown Diner—and it definitely won't be our last! Woods, our host and server, made us feel as if we were regulars, even though it was our first visit. The food was outstanding, and the portion sizes were generous, which was great for a busy day ahead. The diner was incredibly clean, and the colorful chandeliers added a whimsical touch. I highly recommend Downtown Diner!

We traveled all the way from Canada to visit Lake Placid after hearing a lot of great things about it. Let me tell you, the food was fantastic! For the first time ever, I tried roasted chicken with steak and eggs, paired with sausage, and it was a treat. The service was exceptional—shoutout to Mr. Woodz, we loved you!
