Kellis Diner - LAIDLEY

I was recommended to try Kelli's Diner, and I was not let down. The thickshake was particularly impressive and made the visit worthwhile. The menu had a great variety of takeaway options, as well as pre-cooked meals that were very appealing.

One of the staff members was extremely impolite, even worse than a 14-year-old working at McDonald's who clearly does not enjoy their job.

Kelly has been a pillar of this community for three decades. She is an incredible woman who gives back more than she takes, and she truly cares about the people she serves. We have a deep appreciation for her and the delicious food she offers. Thank you, Kelly and staff. The restaurant is impeccably clean, with one customer joking that they may have needed a shower before stopping by. Thank you, Kelly, for your outstanding service to our community.

Kellies used to be good, but our last lot of chips were old, dry and tasted like cardboard. The burgers seem to fall apart as well, and hard to eat without making a mess the way they are thrown together... Pretty hard to get a smile there too.

Went in and ordered hot chips and some fish, well done/crispy. Simple, right? No, the fish was soggy and just didn't taste right. The chips were under cooked and soggy as well. The premises were dirty and I felt like I needed a shower after I left. Thankfully did not eat much of it as the next day I didn't stray too far from the toilet. I tried, as is normal to share my food with the dog, but he turned his nose up at it. From what I can ascertain, this is the only takeaway food in town so they have a captive audience and as a result little to no effort goes into the food prep or anything but their profits. I will NEVER be going back.
