Restaurant Bar El Forty, México

Increíble en todos los aspectos, desde el servicio hasta la cocina y la atención al cliente. La comida es muy variada y tiene un sabor excepcional.

We happened upon Forty, which is actually located outside of Lagos de Moreno (check their FB page for the exact location), as it was near the air bnb we were renting. We were tired and hungry, and there was a festival in Laogs, and we didn't feel like dealing with crowds. We are so glad we tried it absolutely superb country Mexican food. My husband got the chamorro (pork shank) adobado both times we went. It's braised for several hours and is wonderful. Everything we tried was delicious salads, soups and steaks. They also had super cold stella artois, which was awesome after the long hike we had just taken. They open at 11 for brunch, which we didn't try, but the menu looked great. A hidden gem!
