Restaurant Carole - Lachute

I now recall why I haven't returned in over 15 years. The poutine consisted of McCain fries with mozzarella cheese, subpar gravy, and good smoked meat. The food was served cold. The souvlaki was satisfactory. The prices were too high for the portion sizes. The beer selection was disappointing. I do not plan on returning for another 15 years.

The restaurant may not offer the most amazing meal of your life, but it's decent. I ordered a hamburger, which was large but only came with the burger itself - no fries. It was alright, but I had to add salt and pepper for more flavor. My husband enjoyed his BLT. The pizza looked delicious, so that might be worth trying. The decor is eclectic with musical instruments, old Quebec license plates, retro hockey player photos, 1920's fashion photos, and images of Lachute in the 1920s. There are also retro jukeboxes on the tables. The service was good and prices were reasonable.

Excellent food! The service is fantastic and very welcoming. The pizza at this restaurant is exceptional. I am definitely a loyal fan!

A great local eatery .... Great atmosphere and decor.... And of course great food.

Have been a visitor yearly since 1966 , still enjoy the staff and atmosphere, and the booth jukeboxes (not sure if they still work) ..
