Rancho Cantina 2 - La Vergne

Well this probably the last time I’m coming here. Every time I pick my food up there usually something missing or the food not right so I stop going for awhile. Well I thought I give them another try so I order something simple today and when I got home I was missing my cheese sauce and tortilla wraps. Not again!!!! I called up the restaurant and he said are you sure like I’m lying. Really… I told him just refund but it was taking him forever to refund on my card so I told him I’ll drive back to get it. I would have thought I would get an apology or maybe upgrade my cheese sauce or spoken to a manager but that didn’t happen. Probably won’t be back for awhile or never

Our first visit here was not disappointing. We ordered a lot to get a total experience. The presentation of food was enticing. The taste was very good. I ate food out of my comfort zone but enjoyed it. Happy hour margaritas hit the spot on price and taste. You must try their special salsas. We will come back to visit.Food: 5/5

Went in for Margarita and nachos. Drink was frozen and was find. The waitress spoke some English and was difficult. My nachos came out with broken chips. Little toppings and hardly any cheese. I showed the waitress no cheese and she went to her manager, came back and offered I pay for more. No there was never enough, I will not pay for extra. So she left the table and never came back. When time to pay, as I didn't eat the food I asked for them to be taken off and was denied, only given 10 percent discount and never brought any cheese as the manager smirked and said there is cheese. Don't worry about it, we want be back.

This restaurant has never disappointed me. The service, the food and the atmosphere will turn a bad day into a good one. Peek hours are busy here so if you find yourself here during a busy time make sure you are not in a big hurry. The little bit of added waiting time for a table and the kitchen WILL BE worth it. Whatever you order, I suggest getting a tamale a la carte. Even if you don't eat it right away they are great for taking home as a snack for later. My favorite dish is the carnitas in red salsa. It's a bit on the spicy side so be warned I have tried multiple dishes here and have enjoyed them all. This is one of the very few restaurants I will order a burrito at because burritos almost anywhere else are underwhelming, but not here. This place is a must try for everyone.

Great food ! Lime margaritas were awesome, too ! It's definitely a great place. I would recommend it to anyone who wants good Mexican food .Food: 5/5
