Nony's - Kyoto

As far as I know, this is the best bar in the world. Master's are(they are married couple very kind and passionate. Their English is not very fluent, but they try their best to communicate with foreign customers, as well as regular customers. Cocktails are really delicious and master skill and ideas are amazing. You have to taste all cocktails here. The price range is about $100-1200(about $10 per cocktail, which is useful. In addition, the cover is free for tourists. They used basil, content, cucumber, bacon infused spikes and various fresh fruits to make unique cocktails. They also used domestic syrup and bitters. When you came to Kyoto, you have to visit this place.

My partner and I had three excellent cocktails at very reasonable prices. We tried the basil Rum, ginger syrup Wodka and a cucumber and olive gin and tonic, all of which were delicious (my favorite was ginger syrup). The bartender was also great that he opposed the lack of English that we spoke (he speaks great English) and was very interested in our travels. This is one of the best bars I've ever been to, and I'm glad to be back in Kyoto for another drink in Nony's.

Awesome cocktail bar. Nony is named after their 10-year-old daughter. So kind and friendly are they. Must try home-made recipes, u won’t regret! 100% Recommendation *They dress like laboratory guy lol

If I could give 10 stars I would! Not only were the drinks unique and delicious but the bar tender was incredible. His wife and daughter were there as well and were super friendly. He was funny, spoke enough English to understand each other, and was basically a mad scientist. You tell him the drink and base flavor you want and he creates the rest...including using liquid nitrogen in some of his drinks which resulted in basically a spiked dessert rather than a drink. The night also included complementary smoked cheese and sausage as well as Japanese chocolates. If you’re in Kyoto, even for just the day, you should definitely swing by Nony’s!

If you are looking for cocktails as art for cheap prices, this place has covered you! Bartender has a crazy scientist Vibe and his self-made infusions are obvious! Actually, this place cannot recommend enough if you want something interesting!
