Bidrage med feedbackWe were at Melbourne central shopping and ended up here for a quick lunch. We ordered chicken nasi goreng and it was yum! The service was good too.
We've been to this restaurant three times and each time we've not been disappointed. Very tasty fare with authentic taste.
Whilst Chilli India next door is still being renovated, from the same group (I'm assuming because of the similar signage) comes Chilli Everest, highlighting Nepalese cuisine and influences from its neighbouring countries in the north and south. Not sure if the whole seating stretch is reserved for Chilli Everest but we were lucky to grab a table next to the exit to little Bourke Street which was rather cold. It was by far the busiest restaurant out of all the shops with many patrons itching for something close to home.<br/ <br/ There was lots on the menu that I was intrigued with but settled with their popular chow mein, Nepalese style. It was very tasty, the breathe of the wok still lingered in my mouth hours afterwards. It was also spicy and had raw pieces of onion which I adore. The pieces of goat wasn't what I expected, they were more the texture of jerky than being soft and tender.<br/ <br/ On the side we also shared some chilli potatoes which I'm breaking into a sweat thinking about it, it was very spicy. My friend however loved it with his Thakali Khana Set which gave it that oomph, very much needed from his commentary.<br/ <br/ No room to try their momos, maybe next time.
Ever tried Chicken Chow-mien in Melbourne? then this a best place to try Chicken Chow-mien here throughout the city. Delicious food at reasonable prices. a bit Oily, but can sacrifice that just for the taste. Tried it for 3 to 4 times and never felt bored with the taste. Masala tea here is also a worth and must a try here. Only problem here is with the seating, which never looks like a restaurant.<br/ <br/ Good One, but could be better place which makes it a perfect restaurant!!
I was never satiated to this level in Melbourne. Tried the veg chow mein and jhol momos and loved every bit of it. <br/ <br/ This is more of a Nepalese preparation and hence you get the authentic flavours. <br/ I would recommend you guys to visit their atleast once if you love spicy food like I do.
