Bidrage med feedbackThis place has a fantastic mood, and all Tacos are amazing and authentic. They make the tortillas by hand and the chefs come out to serve you. What a pleasant surprise on this trip to Kumamoto just needs a Japanese kitchen break.
(Visites: 3) Three visits so far, and undoubtedly this is one of my favorite places to eat in Kumamoto. I was in the other taco / Mexican restaurant in Kumamoto, and my wife and I agree to win La Catrina. The other place is not bad, but we prefer this place. The tortillas here are amazing. And despite only one menu, we want to order everything on the page and everything is good. The service is great. The cook and the chefs are great. Japanese, English, Spanish, no problem. Only two complaints. This place is small. You will not have any working groups here. It fits a maximum of 14 people. And this is packed max. And every time I was, they were full. The best to make a reservation. My other complaint is that they do not always update their hours on Google. The pandemic closing points were common. We would check Google, they would say special hours open. We're going there and there's a sign. Closed. It happened a few times. I understand you need to update Instagram and Facebook and Tablelog. Still frustrating.
I visited here twice, and the food was amazing and delicious both times! I look forward to the next visit! You also have amazing Mexican craft beers, so try it too! Edit: I just reopened to Japan and La Catrina is as delicious as ever!
Big Mexican place on the fourth floor. Atmosphere and aesthetic is great, and the staff is really friendly and accommodating. Food is really delicious and portion sizes are good, with some vegetarian options available. Good selection of beer too! Very recommended.
Authentic and very good food! Reminded me of home. The staff were really friendly as well! Definitely recommend!
