Bidrage med feedbackWith new owners recently I was thrilled to taste the breakfast. But something was disappointed. 1. You need coffee mug and espresso machine. At the moment they only have paper cups and regular (not good) coffee. 2. Cushions on the outside terrace stands cement would be nice 3. The food is all quite simple and small portions for how expensive.
The restaurant terrace offers spectacular views of Maui. This is a must when you visit and the locals also know. Food is excellent and highly recommend the fish sandwich. Under new property and you can definitely see that things change for the better.
Two nights near Haleakala. Street noise kept us awake or woke us up several times. Ants in the room. Black shape on the shower curtain. Can the people in the room hear talking, shower, the toilet. A check-in was a cover to a door with a key in it. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch if you want to eat after 2 o'clock, you should be better prepared to drive 10-20 minutes. Stains on the carpet. The finish on the wood panel and furniture is flattened. But for $300 a night, this place is a huge demolition and should feel at least clean.
We ate breakfast after sunrise, the food was very good and fast. Service was great and friendly. View is fantastic with very nice garden path you can enjoy
We dined here for lunch. Beautiful cottage decor and ambience, breath taking views, equally charming outdoor seating space on a terraced multilevel yard with quaint cobbled paving with red brick and beautiful gardens, and featuring a wood fired oven the real deal where their pizzas are baked. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and efficient, and their pianist Francois Kie playing some brilliant jazz and romantic melodies from the 60s and 70s was the high point. Strongly recommended.
