I was very surprised because it's the first place I experienced where they serve a lot of pork, that is being cooked like how we cook our own food from the Philippines. The staffs we're very accomodating. Try out their pork sisig. It's a must!
Dukes Duchess is a casual bar/ restaurant located in the TTDI neighbourhood. Surprisingly their food is pretty above average as I assumed that they just served some light bar snacks. The chef here certainly knows his way around the kitchen as his pork knuckles are so addictive! It's actually for 2-pax as its a huge portion of meat marinated for over 24 hours apparently and topped with bits of bacon. I wouldn't bother with the desserts here as there molten cake was just average, priced at RM16 I probably won't be ordering that again. The place gets filled up easily most nights with the younger working crowd. Parking on this street is pretty difficult at anytime of the day really so be prepared to drive around the block for a good while.
While Dukes and Duchess has always been regarded as one of Taman Tun's many neighborhood watering holes as well as a laid back night out for a slightly more upscale meal, my visits have never involved food. The place boasts an extensive list of drinks from tequilas, to mocktails to champagnes. However the best bit is that the beer comes in a frosted mug and is always icy cold. Which has always been the draw for me. Occasionally when my visits lean towards the leisurely side, me and friends choose to order a round of flaming JagerBombs just to spice up the night. A great place for meetings and hangouts
