Sonic Drive-in - Knoxville

Didn’t have everything, when we pushed the button as directed on the app the woman said “the system is down so we can’t take orders” and didn’t wait for our question about the money. We pushed the button again and we’re told to come in the drive-thru. Then the person ahead of us stole our food. Great time all around.

My favorite of the Sonics in the area because they've never messed up my order and fried stuff always tastes like it was done in fresh oil. The staff is super friendly and they keep the pavement clean. One problem they have is lack of workers. Makes this the slowest fast food ever. I'll keep going back when I'm not in a hurry.FYI: they charge for tap water, even with purchase. Weird right?

Our favorite place to stop for a treat when out running errands. The kids love a slush with nerds, cherry limeade, strawberry and lemonade slush, and the shark week slush is an annual tradition! I love the order ahead option on the app and the drinks are half price drinks! We've also had fun making a night time run after dinner and baths in our PJs to grab a sweet treat (milkshake or sundae).

Pulled up the the parking space to order and they said it was drive through only. So we backed out to get into the drive through. I have been sitting in park for literally a hour. There has been 3 people make it through the drive through in a hour. People are honking and driving away.

I wouldn't describe my experience in the past with Sonic as being very good but this location exceeded my expectations. The order was accurate, hot, and fresh. Staff was very courteous, helpful, and quick. Highly satisfied. June 15th 2022, 12:00 pm
