Osteria Stella - Knoxville

Excellent food/cocktails, service, and atmosphere. It's pricey but you get what you pay for.

We enjoyed our food, and the service was great! They seem to have problems with large parties on the front end. We had to choose our meals a week before dining. We were told it could only be on one check, but that was fixed when we arrived.

My husband and I have eaten at Stella on several occasions and enjoyed the service and atmosphere.Matt is a superb waiter.The salads are always fresh and delicious the pastas and entrees are hit and miss. On two occasions my husband or friends have ordered the lasagna only to experience a dry over cooked pasta dish. This was our friends first experience at Stella and they were embarrassed to return the lasagna to the kitchen since Stella was our suggestion.My husband’s complaint has been the 10-15 minute search for parking. The parking issue with the over cooked pasta will probably decrease our likelihood of dining at Stella in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Osteria Stella! We went with a couple of friends on a Thursday evening- we had a reservation and were seated immediately. The atmosphere was fantastic, nice without being stuffy. Our server had great suggestions about the number of appetizers to order for a party of four and was very accommodating in explaining menu items to us. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We tried the arancini, focaccia, salad, potatoes, lasagna, cavatelli, tagliatelle, and ribeye, and I highly recommend all of them. The service was also fantastic! We ate here over a week ago and I am still dreaming about my meal! We will absolutely come back!
