Chesapeake's Seafood House - Knoxville

We were in town to see Paul McCartney play for the first time, in Knoxville, Tennessee (what a show!???????? . We 'd heard that Chesapeake Seafood was a great place to eat. Only problem was they were all booked up until 7 PM... however we might be ableto get a seat at the bar. They opened at 4:30. As we had to be out by 5:30 or so we headed on down and got there about 4:15.They weren 't ready for us, but they did understand our predicament and let us sit a little early until they were ready at 4:30.Let me tell you by 4:40 the bar seats were full and Dave and Jim served us well. Not only in drinks but food and jokes as well.We had a blast! The Happy Hour appetizers is what we ate instead of dinner (you can get full food service at the bar and thatwas a great deal. I had a delish dirty martini and followed up with their own brewed tasty porter. Two of them. When we 're backthrough these parts you can be sure we 'll be here. A special thanks to bartender Dave, he made us laugh.

Amazing food, excellent service, very high quality all around. Plenty of parking, easy to find. We had brunch and I can?t wait to try more on the menu the next time we visit!

I Visited the new West Knoxville location on Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere was awesome the wait staff was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I had the broiled seafood platter, and it was awesome . The only complaint I have, would be with the bar service. Every time we ordered another adult beverage it would take 5+ minutes to receive it. Definitely the best seafood restaurant anywhere close to Knoxville

What a jewel we found! First of all, the nautical decor is so welcoming and cozy. So many special touches in the decor such as the glass holders made out of a lobster trap. On to the food I had the stuffed sole. The sole was so fresh and light and cooked to perfection. My friend had the crab cakes. She said they were the best she has ever had. She has done a lot of traveling and has had crab cakes all over the U.S.A. and these were by far the best. She was also pleasantly surprised when she tried the cornbread muffins. She said they tasted just like her mother used to bake. To top off our excellent experience, the wait staff was superb attentive, efficient, and very friendly. We can’t wait to go back again. We have already told all of our friends they need to try this awesome place!

Wow! I’ve eaten many places right on the water most can’t even touch Chesapeake’s! Want real service with great food in a great environment? I’ll be back in a hurry! Thank God it’s not around the corner from my house because I’d be there almost daily.
