Namaste Curry House - Kirrawee

Ate here for the first time tonight and was blown away by how delicious the food was! The owners were incredibly friendly and accomodating of our son who is mentally delayed and can make a lot of unpleasant noise. They made us feel welcome and comfortable. I have to mention that I read a previous review where the reviewer complained about receiving a vegan curry with “real chicken” in it. We ordered a vegan curry tonight and at first I thought that it had chicken in it but upon asking the owner it was explained to me that it was mock meat made from gluten. I tasted it and it was definitely not real meat and was delicious. Sometimes it pays to ask!

The food and flavours are 12 out of 10. Could not recommend more highly. Great value for money and super friendly staff. Found this place randomly and it will now be a regular!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After reading the reviews and living at South Village I thought I'd give it a go. Service was quick and friendly. That said, the yound lady was absent a fair bit and the loud annoying alert from some ordering system was overbearing. The Samosa's were perfect! The came main. Lamb Shanks is a plural and to get one shank for $20.99 was a bit rough. Then the menu says the shanks are tender and fall off the bone, I could not get the meat off the bone even with a knife. It was steaming when it came out so Chef Microwave was obviously working overtime for myself and the only other customer in the restaurant. Inedible. Biryani rice. Other than a thin layer of biryani rice on top, the rest of the rice was unseasoned, unflavoured, cold cooked rice. Again, Inedible. The Garlic Cheese Naan wasn't too bad but the cheese was on the inside of the bread like a gooey cheese sandwich..... hardly traditional. At least that filled me up. Unfortunately disappointing overall and I won't be back. Such a shame

If you have any dietary restrictions, do not eat here. I just ordered a vegan curry and was given a curry with real chicken in it. This is extremely disgusting and unprofessional. Anyone with ethical, religious or allergy reasons to avoid certain foods should be careful eating here. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40
