Booking system not working so pub had no knowledge of our booking so they arranged a table in bar. One main course came out before the starters, when questioned the staff asked if we had specifically requested that the mains came out after the starters!! Sticky toffee was horrible and cold when questioned the staff said it should have been hot but as we had eaten it there was nothing they could do. Overall would not recommend or return.

The best food and service I have experienced in a long. Staff were so lovely and attentive, a lovely open fire and the food was fantastic. We will be back!! Keep up the good work :

Booked for a party of 8. They tried to put us in a private, poorly lit, soulless dining room which we refused before being shown to an alternative table. The food was good, but the service was lacklustre it was as though the waiting staff lost interest in us after the main meal had been served. Had they bothered to come back and ask, we may well have ordered puddings, coffee or more drinks. Their loss.....

Very friendly and helpful staff, even when she had to come back to the table 4 times before me and my friend where ready to order because we where being chatter boxes. Very generous portions and surprisingly fantastic tasting food not super cheap but the food was good.

This is our local so we eat here a lot and always have good food. Sad to see the ribs are now off the menu, they were always a favourite. Pizza's are a new venture though and I tried the pulled pork pizza, which was excellent.
