At Last after 1904 DAYS I finally enjoyed a pint in my Local Pub Welcome to the New Management and Staff Hope everything works out well for you and you make the Pub the Focal Point of the Village Once Again

The restaurant, despite its regrettable name, had poor service, food, and decor. I would not recommend dining here.

We were searching for a traditional British pub to indulge in some fish and chips, and we were not let down. The pub's decor is stunning, and the food was superb!

When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a woman who was not very welcoming or friendly at all. She simply handed us the menu and asked what we wanted in a brusque manner. If I wanted to be treated like that, I would have gone to a different restaurant. The food was decent, but it seems to have declined in quality. When we asked for a cappuccino, the woman seemed bothered and told us she could only make a regular coffee, even though we had heard the milk being frothed earlier. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet they claimed to be out of stock on many items. I recommend skipping this restaurant and trying somewhere else, as it did not live up to its reputation, especially considering I used to be a regular customer. I will not be returning. It wouldn't hurt for the staff to smile.

How not to win back old customers place was empty for Sunday? I now know why. Well here goes started off ok and went down hill ordered food off menu board and drinks. After 10 minutes the came over and said “there no pies so do you want to choose some thing else” no one in the place at 2pm. Starter where served and to be fair were ok main meal was not dry chicken, 3 small roast potatoes no taste and a small amount of fake mash not fresh potato but lot of nice veg. One of my party asked for a cappuccino stated would 10 minutes then came back and said no can do but you can have a coffee?. Sweets we ask was everything available yes can I have 3 brownies please no only got 2 well all this proofing why we stopped coming here. It’s a shame it used to be a great place to come we will think again to give it a chance again sorry.
