China Star Buffet - Kingsport

The food was just ok. Barely warm. The service was horrible! Had to ask for refills for drinks and when she finally brought some water it didn't have any ice in it. My friend had to get up and go refil her coke on her own.

I came in about 8:00pm the greeting was not good like they wish I did not come in and the other people that came to. There was a lot of people was standing around waiting for the buffet to be filled with food and some part never got filled. The crab legs was water log and I could not brake it just twisted it would not crack. I will never come back there. The people got lazy and don't care of there customers. All other Chinese restaurants love there customers but this one.

My family and I are here now. We have been here 20 minutes and I have asked for 3 different things to be refilled on the buffet and still nothing. The server only came to the table to bring drinks at the beginning and then while I'm still waiting for food, brings the check and of course charged me also and I still haven't eaten. They are NOT friendly and act as if they do not care people are standing around the buffet waiting on food. And the food that is there isn't even warm. This is the second time this has happened, so we will Not be back!

Food is good ...but always cold on buffet.. they need to turn up heaters .. also staff not very friendly ... to bad too, cause its a nice place .. just make food hot before bateria sets in .. came from out of area 3 times now and its a strike out .

2/16/14 there had to be 20 people , they had nothing on he bar! I asked if they were gonna add food and they acted like they were from another planet...this is a buffet right? They added small amounts of food then all 20 ppl were fighting for it...our waitresses never even came back to refill our drinks....very bad service. I did inform the lady when I paid...she could have cared less!!
