Bidrage med feedbackBrisket tastes like it?s been reused or reheated. To much fat on brisket. Sauce is really watery. Yuck! I?ve lived here for years in Kerrville. I thought why not give it another shot? Nope same dry fatty brisket. My go to now is True Texas BBQ at HEB.Brisket is by far much tender and moist.
Stopped in on a recommendation from a friend, and it definitely hit the spot. The atmosphere feels like the small town meetup place for locals. I thought the smoked chicken and ribs were better than the brisket which was pretty good too. This might notbe the best BBQ you?ve ever had in your life, but it definitely represents small town Texas BBQ extremely well. Next time I?llprobably skip the sides to save room for dessert.
I got the honor of tasting Buzzie’s bbq and I tell you this is the best damn brisket I have ever had in my life.
Spent a week in the area. This was our family's favorite. We're not BBQ aficionados or anything but love good eats. I figured seeing the local cops ate there it was good or they had free donuts... either way.
We came to visit from seeing this restaurant on tv, but wasn’t good enough to bother visiting again. Lots of parking. The building had good seating and was clean. Customer service was good and the owner was very welcoming and nice. The brisket, sausage, and ribs were good (they left the membrane on the ribs so it was harder to eat but the flavor was good). We had all five sides and the the only thing that was good was the potato salad. The other sides and the sauce were not worth getting. Bread was communal style, so we passed on that. If all you want is meat then it’s a good place to eat. Otherwise, there is plenty of better Texas BBQ around.
