Petrino Garden - Kerkyra

The only good thing about this restaurant is the decor. The pizza was probably frozen from the supermarket because it looked and tasted that way. We asked for a pizza without peppers, but we got it with peppers, perhaps because it is difficult to remove the peppers from the finished product. I ordered lemonade, thinking it would be fresh, made from lemons that grow on trees in Greece. I got a very sweet lemonade from a can from the supermarket. Finally, the owner blamed us for feeding a several-month-old kitten with runny eyes. We took it outside the restaurant on purpose because we know how the Greeks approach feeding animals. Unfortunately, the owner came out onto the sidewalk to inform us that apparently this kitten was from the neighboring property and we were not allowed to feed it. It was hard for us to ignore the sick child.

I had the English breakfast here twice. It was very tasty and they were happy to remove the sausage and bacon as I'm a vegetarian, however, they could have added extra mushrooms or cooked tomatoes or something as I still felt hungry (even though I'm not a big eater). Maybe the menu can include a separate vegetarian option for the English breakfast so the portions size is equal if you have sausage bacon or cater with other vegetarian options. The fresh orange juice is very nice. Staff are warm and friendly, the atmosphere lovely with the garden and plants around. Kid-friendliness: Highchairs available.

The village sausage is out of this world. Pork gyros was also very delicious and the waiter staff was very welcoming. I wouldn't recommend their toasts though because it is a bit small and the cheese wasn't melted all the way.
