Bbq Pete's - Kent

Yum! It’s hard to find a good BBQ spot in the northwest and this location hits it. We ordered the combination dinner with ribs, pulled pork, brisket, coleslaw, and fries. They happened to be out of chicken at the time. We also ordered the sandwich with no name with fries and the cornbread muffin. Get the cornbread muffin, I promise it’s worth it! Everything was yummy and they have lots of sauces to choose from inside. It’s a lot of food and who doesn’t love leftover bbq!

Here’s the local favorite bbq place. It’s not unusual to see a waiting line to place an order. They are very efficient and fast to serve. Everything on the menu is very good. Although the sliced brisket we had last time was a bit dry. When I tried to tell them, no one seemed wanting to listen. : Their salad is impressive, although not cheap.

I know prices are high everywhere. But the size of their sides alacarte just aren't worth 5 dollars each. The potato salad and coleslaw are good but the large soggy fries not worth it. Also 299 per rib for about 4 bites not worth the price. Tasty but not affordable.

Forgot to take photos of our takeout but the meal was all great. We particularly enjoyed the pork and the hot links but the half chicken was good too. Sadly they didn’t include any bbq sauce with our bag so make sure you ask for some. The one thing that I would say they could improve is their brisket. Not as juicy/tender as we have had before. Maybe less fat on it? Overall we would recommend this place. They seem to have won a lot of awards and you can tell the place is popular. Not to mention the moment you walk in the smell is incredible.

First time ever coming here and was super impressed. I just ordered a sandwich and they had it ready before I could even fill up my soda all the way. They also had different types of bbq sauce to choose from with their famous fair sauce they put on the sandwiches as well.
