Julie's - Kensington and Chelsea

The interieur is a labyrinth of alcove and dining, from garden to crypt space, Moroccan to Gothic, Julie’s is really a cultural labyrinth with enormous magnificence potential.

My worst restaurant experience in London!!! this was the restaurant trip from the hell, from the moment when we went to the employees, saw their nase, especially the very rude and aggressive males waiting staff. was the first problem that it took over an hour for eating, but that beside the menu was beyond the bad choice (I bingetari). they said they would do a mushroom risotto for my main, but when it came out was smaller than what they would feed a child! and wanted beyond! overall demolition. / then someone else on my party had the fish that was totally boiled so that we sent him back and just the same came back. we wanted it to be corrected when the male waiting staff began to become very aggressive and rude. it came to a point where he followed us outside and threatened to “draw the jacket and attack” us. this was completely disappointing and will never go back. julies use to be a fantastic, fabulous place, but with the new owners has fallen completely in trouble, they didn't even have any besides! what a restaurant is that?

Booked Julie's for a dinner with 2 colleagues from Germany who were staying at the Hilton by Shepard's Bush. They had eaten there the night before but Julie's was a welcome change. While the room we ate in was a little bit cold, the service and food were well received and warmed us up. Starters ordered included the Scallops and cured salmon, both delicious and served with fresh warm sourdough. Mains included Wild Cod and Duck breasts served with sides of Julie's yummy Tripple Cook Chips and green beans Desert highlight was the Baked Alaska, which my 2 German colleagues had never tasted but they are now converted!

Nice drinks and food, service can be better and more professional

Made an account to specifically write about this atrocious place. I had gone in expecting the experience of a lifetime but instead I happen to see staff being treated horrendously! There was no welcoming atmosphere or an OUNCE of respect. Completely put me off my food, although there was nothing to enjoy in the first place. I had to send it back as I received it stone cold and when I got it back it was in bits. The place was unclean and the toilets were ghastly. Very angry and upset would not recommend.
