Went here for lunch and ordered the Fish Goujon Brioche sandwich which cost £9.50 for effectively maybe 2 to 3 fish finger size pieces inside of a brioche bun and with some tartare sauce as well. This came with only a rocket salad with no (noticeable) dressing and that was all it came with by default, for nearly £10 was a similar size and tasted pretty similar to a filet of fish from McDonald 's, although I guess the fish is higher quality from here. To get chips was an extra £3.50, and it tasted okay overall. The actual place is inviting, clean and has friendly staff, but I feel the price is too steep, the main lunch menu averaged around £18 £19 per main dish which I 'd say is quite pricey, even for Kenilworth.
It’s a nice place for a drink, but I wouldn’t really recommend it if you’re looking for a restaurant to enjoy a good meal. It’s quite noisy, and the food is of average quality. The lady who served us was friendly, but overall the service would benefit from some improvement. It’s often difficult to get a drink (struggling to get the attention of a waiter, and then it takes ages to receive the drink) and both main meal and desert were served without cutlery. All in all, a decent place for sure, go and have a drink, but for dinner I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
