Bliss Bakery Ellis Street - Kelowna

I got an interesting combination, a Mayan mocha which had a hint of spice but more noticeable later when the coffee was lukewarm. Service was very good, the barista taking some time to chat us up, asking what were our plans and when knowing we were not from kelowna, she offered some hiking suggestions which was very appreciated

Lovely vibe. Busy. Lots of varieties of food. I especially like that they have frozen meals to take away. I bought a berry scone and carrot cake muffin. Both were fine but not amazing. I’m a fan of Cobs bread scones which are more moist and better balanced flavours. The carrot cake muffin was alright. I would still recommend visiting! I think they are locally owned. Love that!!

Simply the best bakery downtown! No corners are cut, and owned by a lovely husband and wife! Artisan bakery who literally bakes fresh every single night!

Sadly, the clerk was wrong that the banana bread has no nuts, but fortunately my nut issues are not of the epipen scale and my companion happily ate the problematic pastry. On the other hand, the salted toffee chocolate cookie was amazing. The chocolate chunk cookie was fine.

Stopped by this place today with family to refresh. I was looking at the squares and noticed there was a long black hair on one, I let the staff know they seemed to be upset rather than appreciative. The oat regular lattes were both good and we enjoyed. The cafe is on a nice spot and really lovely outdoor sitting.
