Basket Case Picnics - Kelowna

I had a special picnic for my sister-in-law when they visited and the food was outstanding. We had a variety of finer foods from Prosciutto raspberry brie thyme tartlets to caprese skewers to a new twist on carrot cake and choc cake topped with a fresh raspberry. A wonderful creative take on going for a picnic.This is my one stop shop for a special event or special someone.I think you can custom order but I wanted to sample their creations and glad I did.I think you can have them make what is in your budget. They are very friendly and accommodatiing and really care about what comes our of their kitchen.

We had Basket Case cater our daughters wedding in July and the food was fantastic! We had a smoked beef brisket that was beyond delicious and so tender it was hard to pick up with my fork, lol! I wanted to have the au jus in a wineglass ;) The chicken was tasty, the seasonal roast veggies were yummy enough for kids to enjoy, and the fresh, local salad was beautiful dressed with edible blooms. Our daughter wanted rustic elegance and that's exactly what Basket Case delivered. Chris and her staff were outstanding, well organized but relaxed which is what we needed on a hectic day. When we were overheating (it was 41C that day)! and inclined to stress out, they were calm, level, friendly and so accommodating. I still can't thank you enough, Chris, and you will be my first call when it's time to do this again!

MJO Tours is a wine touring company and we contracted Basket Case to provide a lunch for our clients that was progressive, in that we have salad , entrée and desert each at a different winery and perfectly paired with wine that matched the food that was provided by Basket Case. Our clients simply raved about their day, the timing was perfect and the food well prepared and delicious throughout the day. For our companies part, working with Basket Case was easy - made the day an extraordinary experience and we look forward to working with them again

The wine selection at this restaurant is excellent, and it is a wonderful place to visit while in the Okanagan Valley.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with wonderful views and delicious wine. I will definitely be returning in the future. The peaceful atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. Quails Gate wine has now become one of my favorites.
