Restaurant Rosengarten - Kehl

We ate at a family event. standard Greek farewell, but well made, from a Greek cook (although front-of-house was mainly German). very friendly service.

The food was good. octopus, after calamar and salmon. the service must be improved. very slow! also the salatbuffet is not very well maintained, most dishes were empty.

By accident at a day visit from straßburg we found this wonderful restaurant. on a sunny day on the deck next to the rosengarten we first relaxed with German beer and then selected from the daily menu, which offered surprisingly half-priced meals. Our...taste contains salmon, steak and moussaka. service was excellent and our waiter friendly and informative. such a relaxed atmosphere and not far from the lively main road in kehl!

I was in this restaurant several times and I had fun each time! the Greek owner, dimitri is such a Jovial type that he laughs at you with his sweats every time. he also has a funny comment. that they're throwing him. the people who work in the restaurant for him are also very interesting colorful people. this time we met Fernando de vito, who originally came from Argentineia and lived in Germany for 14 years. he worked by himself tonight and led the work excellently. it was totally entertaining to talk to him in an environment like kehl, where people either speak French or German! eating in the restaurant was fantastic. the prices were very fair. nothing really went over 15 euro. I had an salat with lamb strips that was very tasty and my friend had lambs, which was also great. I had a red wine called manuso (correct spelling? from Greece and it was very good. we were on the backyard that enjoyed the cooler weather after a heat wave in this part of Germany when it started thunder-casting! So we ran inside, lit a candle and started to enjoy the interior of the restaurant, which was actually more beautiful than the backyard. so we had to go on to desserts. what we had was more like a warm cake with ice cream. We also got an alcoholic drink on the house made by the owner himself. it was a very round evening and we went with a promise to come back to enjoy dinner and dance again in the small disco. I recommend the place to everyone who wants to let go and have a great evening. be not shy to start a conversation with the owner who is a very funny guy. When you start him, you'll talk all night!

First of all, the reception was warm and pleasant, eating mainly optically very appealing to satisfy my expectations tastefully, I would even say more than satisfied! excellent value for money. the rosengarten has enchanted me both from the quality of the served food and from the atmosphere, not to mention the great scenery! I strongly recommend it.
