We had tickets to see Pilobolus at the colonial at 6:30 pm and arrived at Nicolas for 6:30 reservations. Our server was known from the menu and led us to wonderful decisions. She also kept the time in mind for us and let us simply enjoy the experience. All together a wonderful evening.

Very friendly waitress and staff. Excellent food. Clear view of the kitchen of the cook. Restaurant under new management now. Closed and reopened in June.

Food was excellent from a varied menu. The couple changes daily. Service and attention were excellent when the overwhelmed young hostess, who tried to clear the seat and manage a rush, us our reserved table in the bar.

We went to Nicolas on Valentine's Day and expected a nice, relaxing dinner. Our table was tiny and next to the window. Under zero conditions it was quite unpleasant. The service was slow and not very attentive. It felt like there weren't enough service personnel. Surprising for such a big night in the restaurant industry. We felt like thinking every time our server came to the table, no priority. The food was pretty good. Each course was the right size and was prepared brilliantly. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like a special night for us.
