The fact that they have an entire vegan menu, and everything on it is absolutely mouth watering, is really incredible and deeply appreciated. That is why it is such a shame that the service is just so attrocious. After three visits, this is what has happened to us: 1 During dinner time on a Friday night, we sat at a table next to the owner, who began FLOSSING HER TEETH at the table. 2 The first two times we visited L'Incontro, we got to sit at a cozy booth. This last time, we were offered a ridiculously cramped one person table (they say it's two people, but two people absolutely do not fit here . My partner is 6'4 , so I asked if we could sit somewhere he could actually fit his legs under the table. We were told, absolutely not as our comfortability mattered less to them then keeping the booths open for potential 4 person groups. We were there for two hours (6:00 8:00pm, Fri. and not a single other group came in, leaving ALL FIVE booths completely empty, while we remained, banging our elbows into the wall around us and my partner with his legs out to the side of the table. 3 Usually we order drinks. The last time we went, however, I did not want anything. Evidently, you are CHARGED FOR NOT ORDERING DRINKS, as in if you get absolutely no drinks, you are still forced to pay a EUR 2.00 fee, which is insane. I have never, in all my life, in any part of the world, heard of being charged for not getting drinks. 4 The second time we went, though the restaurant had very, very few people in it, we waited 10 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes to be give our menus, 30 minutes to have our order taken, and then after eating our (delicious food, we waited 20 minutes before having to yell for our waiter to come and give us our bill so we could leave. We ended up being there for over three hours, though the eating was probably only 1.5 of that. All in all, I would say order take out from here if you can (we are outside the delivery zone , or go when you have a lot of time to waste, aren't on a date, and you aren't already in a bad mood. To eat here, you will need to have an unbreakable spirit and a ton of patience. Oh, and if you are two people, good luck fitting into the space they may assign you. Again, delicious food the service just doesn't do it justice.
The atmosphere of the internal room is very nice with beautiful paintings that follow the logo of incontro and beautiful lamps that create the atmosphere. We tried some of the house preparations as Italians such as mussels with tomato and dill, pasta with melon and a caprese. Tirami su excellent. To be in the center of the city and not on the sea really great food and friendly service with great attention from Sandro (the owner) who listed me among the many things many characteristics of his wines and food that produce

For more than 18 years, the family of Alessandro Muccardo existed on the western edge of Karlsruhe city centre. Two times in a classic way, with diced tomatoes, some garlic, rocket and herbs. The two specimens with molten Scamorza cheese and Parmas ham were my favorites. My accompaniment was on a Bruschetta bag with the creamy sweet goat cheese walnut honey cover that brought me the double Scamorza-Parma ratio.
