Bidrage med feedback(2020 kc) restaurant week review} the webster house was our first lunch break for kcrw! everything was wonderful as always. first cure: {cream of mushroom soup walnuts chive oil} very rich and earthy if they like mushrooms, they will enjoy it. {fried brussels sprouts pecorino romano, crater, senf aioli} loved the combo of brussel with mustard...we ate the whole plate! Second cure: {manzo e polenta braised rindmeat, mushroom, squash, tomaten, herbed polnta, grana padano, arugula}e my favorite entre! the meat was so tasteful, polnta perfectly cooked, and they know how to cook mushrooms! {coq au vin red wine brat free row chicken dog behind quarters, speck lardons, haricot vert, picked kartoffels, beurre rouge} still a very good escape! my man shaved over the taste of the chicken skin and the flesh was so tender that it fell directly from the bones. original review (juli 2019 webster house is a phenomenal restaurant that doesn't seem to know many people! the location is beautiful and is technically a restored school (not a house! with a rich history and magnificent view of the city. eating is something of the best I've ever tried. their menu often changes seasonal, but the quality is always consistent and on point. service has always been exceptional. it's a great date night place!
This unique construction is a jewel of a fund. the business on the ground floor has a wonderful staff that can help them at a moment, and the restaurant on the top floor is all the more impressive. the food is prepared with the highest love for detail. the waiting staff is friendly and willing to help with everything they need. if they are looking for a special date night place or a night with friends to brunch, this is the place to go.
We have come for years as our "gate experience" before we take part in the kauffman center on the events. every visit has consistently made large service available! the cocktails are great, the menu is wonderful and the entire meal and experience from beginning to end is one of the best in the city!
My wife chose webster house for dinner for her birthday. she hadn't made a better choice! our dinner was fantastic. every reiskorn in our risotto was perfect al dente. our salate was perfectly dressed. my salmon was cooked, on the visibleness I have, a perfect medium. the skalopps of my wife were neatly supposed and were deliciously buttery. the service was also great. we felt accommodated without being harassed. the timing of our meal was almost perfect. when a cure was removed from the table, the next appeared only seconds to a minute later. we had both ol' fashioned drinks (from the menu) and they were perfectly balanced.
An overall excellent experience. Parking was ample thanks to a parking garage across the street that was validated by the restaurant. We were able to be seated right away when we made reservations. The service was top Notch. Waiter was friendly and very descriptive with the soup of the day. He was attentive without feeling clingy. We shared the potstickers as an appetizer. They are crispy and delicious. I have the salmon which was excellent. We also shared the cheesecake which was top notch. Highly recommend any of my friends to come to this place.
