I would start by saying that there is not a single at least average pub in the village where you can find good food, so there is not much competition. This pub is like a trip to 1980. An unattended garden, which I'm downright squeamish about. So when you go to get a beer, before you bring it to the table, the foam is gone. The cleanliness of the glass is nothing extra, and the beer oven looks accordingly. The food is partly semi-finished and partly cooked on the spot, but it's definitely not like mom's. At the level, I would say worse factories or like school kitchens. Even when the waitress and Mr. (probably the owner) are sitting in the garden, drinking beer and smoking and watching the guests, I give two stars. 1. for the fact that the waitress was nice and 2. for the fact that, considering this level of quality, the prices are extremely low.
