Can't get any more Hawaiian than this in LA. Close to LAX, this hits the spot if you can't fly out to Hawaii. Lau Lau is a must as well as the spam masubis! My go to home cooked goodness while in LA!

This is where the Mar Vista locals go for great food, friendly service, good prices, and generous portions. Everything (seriously everything) is good.

Their house special royale (fried rice) plate is fire. Service was a bit weird, one of the waitresses kept making blunders (walking away after taking our drink order after we said we were ready to order, then forgetting our drinks but lingering around pre bussing other empty tables) not sure if it was just an off day for her, but it was definitely weird when it kept happening throughout the meal. That one particular lady aside, service was pretty good. Definitely get the royale!
