Ola Brew Co - Kailua-Kona

My husband I stopped there recently had lunch there. I got a flat bread pizza that was good. He did enjoy his hamburger but had better elsewhere. There was something missing there in the way if ambience. It was just a big room with nothing special about it. We most likely won't go again even though the food was good.

The Sunrise Drank was divine, and the string beans lechon were one. Service with aloha and ambiance has a local vibe.

This was my first experience with Ola. I read about them on site and their investments in the community (and then noticed their logo around the island working with local farmers, and that 's just awesome! The beers none were bad. Maybe some misses in the I didn 't enjoy their style and a few that nailed it for me which is a highlight for any good brewery IMO. They have juices, sodas, and beers, dog friendly, and decent amount of parking. Yet still didn 't hit their kitchen (working in reverse writing these reviews . Bartender was more than helpful getting me a Hoptopus shirt, and making recommendations of beer to try. This is a chill joint, and I hope to try more of their beer in the future!

This is one of the best breweries on the big island. I loved the special beer they had on tap: the Strata Pilsner. Lagers with IPA hops is my favorite take on beer and...not many people (besides myself, that is) brew them. This location in particular is very close to the airport and has a parking situation that is easy and not at all fussy. This is the perfect place to drown your sorrows before going back to wherever you have to go back to.

I'm not really sure how I forgot to take a picture of my order but it was good! We ordered the Ravi truck flat bread replaced the carne asada with chicken. It was so good we had to order another to go. Our daughter for a cheese flatbread which she enjoyed. My mother got a burger which she enjoyed. You order your food at the bar you're given a number to take to your table. The servers bring the food to wherever you're sitting. They have indoor outdoor seating available. I'm not a beer drinker but I ordered something that was pretty tasty (can't remember). I told the bartender I typically drink champagne or Prosecco he let me try a few. Such a nice atmosphere. We came in right before the crowd. We can tell it's a favorite.
