Holiday Beach - Kafr Laha

Food is not so good, yet you are not allowed to bring your own. Service can be better. Beach is clean.

We expected to have a great vacation when we booked 3 chaletes for 4 nights and paid more that 2300 USD. Location is amazing, building and chalets are very nice, obviously a huge amount was paid by owners to build this resort but unfortunately, the services and staff are disaster. Starting from check in, the lady on the reception was rude and has no idea about talking to guests. In the chalets, you don 't have any utilities available and you have to find out that you need to order from room service spoons and plates and you have to sign on receiving the utilities, pillows, blankets even the remote control of AC!!! Take your beach towels as you need to pay if you need towels to use on the beach even if you are a guest who paid over 175 USD per night! Restaurant Africano is disaster as well, prices are so high. Cost for dinner is around 25 USD per person no alcohol and no dessert and food is so bad. Expect you will get your main course served before you get the apatisers! No one in The hotel knows who is the hotel manger! We had an issue with the service and requested to talk to any manger as the staff especially the lady on the reception are not helpful at all. Unfortunately, no one from the staff know who is the hotel manger and they called another manger to talk to us who refused to come to our table! Service and attention of the staff in the hotel changed completely when we were able to reach the owner of the hotel who immediately react and corrected the situation. My advice is you go there in two cases, 1 if you have contact with hotel owner so your issues will be sorted 2 if you never traveled abrode so you don 't compare the service with the international resorts services. I feel petty for such a wonderful resort to have such careless staff and no proper management to run it.

Went on summer 2017 with the family and spent a wonderful day on the outdoor pool. Very clean. Good food. Have shisha. Excellent stuff. Plan to visit again this summer of 2018

The Holiday Beach Hotel Resort is located just north of the Syrian coastal city, and it is called: Tartous, and it is truly a five-star resort. This was our fourth stay and it definitely won't be our last as with each visit we find the resort getting better, especially with the service! We stayed, again, in one of the beach chalets and it's your best option simply because your room is right on the beach. We slept every night with the window open which made for a really comfortable sleeping atmosphere. We used the small front porch often as again you had a great view of the sea plus you could hear the waves gently crashing on the shore. The two restaurants that were open were very good. We had breakfast in the holiday restaurant and the food and service has really improved. They have now added a great omelet station and this chef makes great omelettes. We also had a very good dinner, the first night, at Africano, which served great seafood. This year the resort has added more: sunbeds; Tables and umbrellas line their long beach in anticipation of the busy summer season. The beach is cleaned of small stones every morning using a large tractor. So if you don't like the rocky beach it's better to swim in the morning hours. The large outdoor pool is currently closed due to ongoing construction of a new hotel building next to this large pool. Finally, the VIP cinema was showing action the day we arrived. This allows one to change their routine while staying at the Holiday Beach Resort. If you have never stayed in this beach resort, you must stay there on your next vacation...you will not be disappointed...
