Carmine's Wood Fired Pizza - Joplin

I placed my order online. Ordered Garlic Parmesan wings. Once I received my order I noticed that I had plain wings. I called Carmines and was told that they don’t have Garlic Parmesan, so I’m not sure why it’s on their menu. I left contact information when I placed the order. They could have easily contacted me and corrected the issue. Very poor service on their behalf.

Moved from NY to Joplin for school and couldn’t find pizza I liked in the area… then I tried Carmine’s: while I think the pizza size is a bit smaller than what you’d get in NY, the flavor profile is definitely close. I kept it super basic and went with a plain ol’ pizza pie, but I’ll definitely try something a little extra next time. I wish they had a couple more topping choices — maybe a Buffalo chicken or BBQ chicken topping (those are the best — with regular sauce, no blue cheese or ranch … – show

Forgot about our pizza cause everyone was more focused on their friends who came in getting their food. Was told they had no wings then the guy brought 4 pounds out for their friends who came in a while after us. Would give 0 if i could. Food is good but not when its forgotten about and have to be reminded when its just sitting there.

Just wanted to take a minute to compliment these guys. They were very busy when two coworkers and I ate here today. They only had 2 people working and told us up front they were short staffed. Despite their challenges, the stromboli, calzone, and Detroit style pizza we ordered was very good. I think they and JBs at 1208 S Main Street are the two best quality pizza places in the Joplin area.

Very little cheese. Sparce meat. Mostly bread and I've had NY pizza in Brooklyn n this isn't even close.
