Boere Sjiek - Joostenbergvlakte

Boeresjiek was a wonderful experience.The place is breathtakingly beautiful,service is friendly and its such a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by stunning vintage&antique decor.The food was excellent started off with their bacon&mushroom quiche with fresh side salad and had a decadent slice of red velvet cheesecake,my hubby had the chocolate cheesecake&lemon meringue tartlet.Will defnitely be back.

Tucked away in Okavango Park, you would never dream of finding such a beautiful spot there.<br/ Luckily  have a friend who has friends that know things so we decided to make the trip and check it out.<br/ <br/ Basically it is a large warehouse full of tasteful items to decorate your home with or find an unusual gift for someone special. AND CAKE! A huge selection of delicious and beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes.<br/ <br/  <br/ Beautiful table settings, and decor stuff. Everything is for sale! <br/ <br/ Who wants one birthday cake when you can have this many??<br/ <br/ Although it was one of the toughest decisions I ever had t make said friend insisted I couldn't possibly try them all.  <br/ <br/ In the end we got iced coffees which were superb, a slice of beautifully moist and delicious carrot cake, and a slice of cheese cake with red velvet cake on top, wrapped in cream cheese icing... Yes I did just say that, and yes it was amazing and you really should go try it. <br/ <br/ Can't wait to go back!

I'd been dying to try this restaurant out since I saw it on Zomato. It is in quite a strange location my friend was sure that we were lost. However, once you go inside you soon forget the outside location. It is so overwhelming with so many different interesting things to look at. Service was great. My chai latte was good too. However my carrot cake was quite average. Overall a very good experience next time I will try a different cake!

Really cute place for a girls coffee date or a kitchen tea. The food is really great, I was so impressed by the variety of cakes in particular. They're all really beautifully decorated. I also liked the decor, even if it is a bit OTT (which is part of the charm). They decorated the table well, with cute serviette and flowers. Everything is for sale and you'll find many many little trinkets to look at if conversation becomes stilted :p

Hands down the best red velvet cake I have ever tasted! Nothing has even come close to how soft and sweet that piece was. Love, love, love!!
