Bidrage med feedbackSlow service, understaffed, gave my wife an incorrect order. I ordered decaf because my wife is pregnant and they gave regular. I wasn?t gonna wait another 45 mins so I threw out the drink. Terrible terrible. Don?t waste your time here, management is terrible. Waste of time and money.
This afternoon between 2 2:30, I visited with my husband and son for a rest stop and to get some refreshments at the Jessup, Maryland location. My husband pointed to what he wanted. As I was distracted, I didn 't hear the name, but I did see where he pointed. So when I was ordering, I told the young lady (I didn 't notice her name , I 'd like the item on the top shelf at the far end . When I saw the words cranberry blitz come up, I realized that I had ordered the wrong item, but didn 't want to confuse the young lady, so I just left it that way. (I knew my husband wouldn 't mind. After paying I went to the end of the counter to wait for my order. While waiting, I noticed that my server and another server bumped into each other and my server dropped the bag containing the pastry. When I noticed her putting it into the trash, I commented, Are you throwing that away? She nodded yes and then I asked, Could you then give me the Sugar Plum Cheese Danish instead? She threw her arms up into the air and said, I can 't do that for you. She seemed very indignant and almost annoyed and put out. She didn 't even give me the opportunity to explain why I wanted a different item and that I would pay the difference, if any, between the cost of the new item. My response to the situation was Do you want to replay that? We are the customers and you should be giving us what we are asking for. You have been very rude to us. The other young lady came over and said sorry and then listened to what I was wanting and proceeded to help me with my order. (Since the first young lady was walking over to exchange the item, I took it as my chance to get the correct item that I should have ordered to begin with. It made sense to me to ask her since she was going in that direction anyway. But as I previously mentioned, she didn 't even give me a chance to explain myself. The young lady who helped us with getting the new item was very nice and made sure that we were happy with the service provided. She should be commended for the wonderful service we received. We have visited this location many times in the past and have always been pleased with the service.
Avoid this Starbucks if possible and there is another one on your route. Service at this location is notoriously bad, from ignoring customers, ringing drinks in wrong, making drinks wrong, to being extremely slow. The lobby is usually dirty with an empty condiment bar. They are frequently out of food or beverage comments. Nothing like getting your nitro cold brew in a cup with a frapoccino lid so you have to drink out a straw.
My drink was fine when I ordered it, but what disappointed me the most from this location was the service given by their manager on duty, Nicole. I had to witness how Nicole was yelling at a customer over a misunderstanding and the customer was a kid. She was rude and even raised her voice at this little kid and his mother. They left the store without their drink because that?s how bad it was. I hope you guys hire better staff.
Staff was nice and friendly but I ordered a hot matcha through mobile order and they made it iced. My americano tasted like nothing but milk. It was wayyy packed so my daughter said she?ll drink it anyway. The bathrooms were disgusting! I can?t believe I was in a Starbucks. The floors were wet and sticky and I hope the toilet was leaking and I didn?t just step into people?s urine, waaaaaaa. The sink was rusted too. Starbucks, please do better! Fix your toilets and install new sinks. Geez
