El Sabroso - Jersey City

El sabroso offers really good food, but the worst service. this place is an excellent example for good cooks, terrible businessmen. the ordering system is an outdated chaos that leads to mixed ordering and incredibly long waiting times. customers can arrive literally and stand in a stagnating line and have to wait 15 25 minutes before they can even place an order. this place needs better business practices and a POS system in the worst wise. eating is good, but not good enough to overcome the bad customer experience.

Bought food to go to then find a bug on my chicken and my ribs tasted like it was old meat, rice was crunchy and service was horrible. Def not authentic Puerto Rican food. And the price is expensive for the type of food. Never going there again too bad I even had to give them one star. Save your money folks

This use to be my fav Puerto Rican spot but after today I will not be returning. First as I enter the restaurant I got paint all over my sleeve from them painting the door they didn’t even warn me the the paint was wet. I came here to have dinner with my family the service was terrible. We were waiting almost an hour for the alcapurrias when the waitress brought them they were hard as a rock hardly no meat inside. My godmother ordered the oxtail soup the waitress waited until she brought out all the food to tell her there was no more soup left. She ended up having to order a pernil sandwich it was cold had cheese, lettuce, tomato, Mayo on it which was not what she ask for. The rest of the meal was cold as well. Such a disappointment. You need to do better. You just lost an entire family of customers.

I faithfully spent my money with them until today. They are disrespectful and rude. Can never get anymore of my money.
