Bidrage med feedbackWe came here to have a few drinks before our main event during NYE and we are super thankful that this bar is open and quiet and more relaxing compared to the other ones we passed by being full, loud, and really busy. The atmosphere is really nice. We are able to concrete among each other as well as a few of the customers and the bartender and the owner. We will absolutely come back here again to try out the food next time. The drinks were superb!
I took my best friend here on a Friday night and it was delicious and so fun! There was no crowd which was surprising because the food was really good. No issues with being “downtown,” it was a great time with good food. Recommend the oysters, gumbo, and the mussels and the bread/butter. Definitely go! Worth the cost (cheaper than other Portland seafood) and the atmosphere was perfect.
I always wonder why I don't come here more often. Really good food and scene.
We were visiting downtown for a few days and went to this gem a few times. Their Old Fashions were really good and quite affordable. The staff are super nice and the place has a long rich history. Their house salad with a homemade italian dressing was surprising good as we were expecting the typical overly sweet italian from a bottle and iceberg lettuce. They are known for oysters and chowder and we got their chowder which was spot on delicious.
Came here on a chilly Saturday evening to meet some friends. The staff here is lovely and attentive. Loved the decor here as well. Made you feel as if you were in a restaurant on the coast. I had a bowl of clam chowder and it did not disappoint. My only complaint is that the oysters my brother-in-law received were too small. Hoping to visit again soon!
