First time here! Truly great! The breakfast special was divine! Scones were decadent! I'll be back for sure! The whole team at City State is great!

Holy moly! This place has the BEST scones in Portland hands down! I was absolutely blown away with the quality of the food and the fun menu items. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Delicious Benedict! The hollandaise was perfect plentiful. The QR code for the menu/ordering system didn't work on Android, only on iOS, so we took turns using the one phone, which was a little disappointing — but the food totally made up for it.

My favorite breakfast place in Portland. Been coming for years. A simple diner but has character. Food delicious, flowing coffee and great service. I usually come midweek early and no problem getting a seat. So nervous it will someday become one of those Portland restaurants with hype and massive lines. Order the Freddie! Yum!
