This place is amazing! Definitely a hidden gem. The decor has a modern yet traditional feel. The staff are attentive, pleasant and proactive. The food is ?TO DIE FOR!? So delicious, fresh, beautifully presented did I say delicious! The best West Indianfood in NYC. When in Queens, NYC seeking a restaurant with West Indian flare, GO HERE!

The is the most service I?ve ever received at a Jamaican establishment. It?s not embellished, it?s just good. And the food is even better. We started with the red pea soup and the chicken soup, both were astounding! I knew we were in for a treat whenboth soups were delicious. I had the curry shrimp with rice and peas and my partner had the curry chicken with groundprovisions. We were full after 3 bites. It was all so savory and the right amount of spice. We will return!

The door is the best restaurant I’ve ordered from hands down they can teach others restaurants how to keep they food good after years of being opened .

I ordered takeout on November 29. I had the rundown snapper which was extremely salty. I also ordered Rasta pasta creamy. That’s not what I received. I live too far to take it back so I wasn’t too happy. I also heard it’s a hit or miss with this place, so I guess it was a miss for me today.
