Anejo Cocina Riverside - Jacksonville

Beautiful ambiente. very clean. beautiful location in Riverside/downtown. they seem pet-friendly to be people with takeout orders that I thought was cool. I tried the keto-tacos with salad and cheese wrap that was delicious! I also tried the house margarita, which was also good. Finally I tried the Mexican roads mais, who was honestly the best thing I tried so far in jville. the staff was nice and friendly! will come back!

The food here is wonderful! authentic and delicious! quality is great, service is friendly and excellent, atmosphere is very beautiful (modern with a beautiful flair for classic mexiko)! very recommended to come here! we ate the black garnel burrito, huh and spinat enchiladas, and steak and garnel fajitas. the shrimp burrito is wet, but sooo good. the sauces on it are perfection! everything was excellent! go also the guacamole and red sangria. come here for large Mexican cuisine, they will not regret it! also julio managed and served us and its customer service is excellent!

I'm not an autority for Mexican food, but that was fantastic. I enjoyed the salsa and the queen was beautiful. I cannot recommend the pollo borracho enough. these grilled swirl pair perfectly with the thin grilled chew. bright, sweet and not too heavy. I will say that the margaritas were not our absolute favorites in jax, but that eat for these 10 fold. I wish they had a more authentic margarita. the atmosphere is more casual than expected, but we went a little early. overall I will be 100% back and my eating really enjoyed without having to be rolled back to home.

In jacksonville, this is one of our favorite places to eat. I had her burrito, guacamole, margarita and enchiladas. they're all good. the personal is helpful and eating is quick to reach.

First the positive. The food is tasty and the portions are very large. Their red sauce really goes amazing with both the tamales dinner and the anejo burrito. The queso is amazing and chips are plentiful and refilled regularly.The negative is that after being seated we waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Then our orders came out with the wrong meats-which being Good Friday it was important to my wife to only eat fish and they brought her chicken. Our drinks were never refilled.The positive—once a server did come by they were very kind and quick with the replacement dishes. She was smiling and courteous. I remind myself often that the servers do not cook the food I’ve taken orders to go many times and never had a bad experience though so it’s likely a staffing issue which lead to the wait times. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting and while I had one unpleasant experience I cannot imagine this is always the case. It sees a lot of business and is usually busy so it was likely just an off instance.
