Milano's - Jacksonville Beach

My family had food delivered to our hotel. Service was quick. Food was great! Salads were fresh and crisp, pizza was loaded with cheese, and the spaghetti sauce was delicious. We are looking forward to more this summer!

So I called in early on a Friday night, 6pm, for a carryout pizza. Asked the girl to mark my ticket well done pizza, I want to cheese nice and bubbly on top, not just barely melted and congealed looking like the last. Hubby goes to pick up....YUCK! Pizza is gummy, not crispy, not bubbly. Call the restaurant and head back up. I am met with confusion and when the girls go to the kitchen the OWNER, yes the OWNER, refuses to make another pizza and just refunds my money. Oh, he did not bother to leave the kitchen to talk to me. Too busy, large party, etc. So it is now 7PM and I am re cooking the old pizza. Sorry Milanos, we are done with you. We will be back at D'Fontanas at 1269 Penman Road because their pizza is better and they are just as close.

This is the place with the absolute best pizza in Jacksonville Beach. You can get anything you want on it from pepperoni to bbq chicken. The portion sizes are generous for the price and dinners are less expensive than Carraba's. Tell all Jake said hi.

Ordered the daily special, lasagna. The food was cold on the inside and tastes bland. I would not suggest eating here.

At Milanos you feel at home and they have the best pizza of anywhere I have ever eaten.
