Bidrage med feedbackIn a “real” Japanese restaurant, I like to sit at the counter, this is where you will have the most beautiful view of the preparation of your dishes and you can admire the dexterity of the master sushi. The thing that surprised me most at Nonbe Daigaku restaurant, unlike most Japanese restaurants, is that the chef talks to you: . We are so not accustomed at all to the fact that the sushi masters make us a bit of a chat, but it’s so nice to have all the answers to our many questions, the ones we usually don’t dare ask for fear of froing customs. Yosuke’s eyes are closed, for example he offered me a menu that is idem on the menu but cheaper. At Nonbe Daigaku restaurant, the chef is kind (rare, smiling) We chose to start a 6-piece sushi menu and a tempura gambas menu, served with a small salad and miso soup, all at 18€ the menu. And as a drink to accompany our meal, green tea. We were able to taste oysters. A small assortment of sashimi. An ebiten maki (tempura maki . E finish with a dessert from the Yasushi Sasaki pastry: Micassa, a kind of small red beans pancakes. And a yuzu sorbet (a Japanese hybrid fruit of wild tangerine and Ichang lemon. It is for me the best Japanese restaurant in Brussels without hesitation. The wasabi is homemade, the products are very fresh.
Very good traditional cuisine, all the dishes we have tasted were refined and delicious.
If I could give six stars, I would. The chief was onion with us, full of little attention. And the sushi were divine! I highly recommend!

Great experience in this place out of time. We'd believe in a manga. Very nice report quality price. A sure value to taste Japanese culture and cuisine in Brussels.
