The Sportsman's Inn - Ivybridge

For a few meal here in the last time and can not mistake it! friendly staff and fantastic meals! would definitely recommend.

What a improvement since the refurbishment , looks bigger and lighter, new Sunday Cauvery very good lots to choose from

Food was good, steak was cooked just as we requested. Staff were very pleasant. We will definately go back.

We stayed here for one night on our Devon holidays. The room was simple and clean with everything what you need for a short stay. We had a good night sleep and had amazing full fried Devon breakfast in the morning made of local fresh produce. The bar/restaurant area was full of charm and character that makes your eyes wonder in search of next peculiar thing in decor. The only little criticism is a water pressure in the shower and a little inconvenience having a separate bathroom next door and not in the room. But overall it is a great value for money and I would definitely recommend this Inn if you are on a tight budget.

My Wife and I stayed at this Inn as it was close to the Railway Station and the start of our walk The Dartmoor Way after 9 days we returned as the Dartmoor Way is a circular walk. We were extremely well looked after by the staff including the chef whose food was fantastic. Its only a 2 star but the staff made it very special.
