Sefa - Istanbul

Had a wonderful time. I was to hesitate to enter, but then only kindly suggested to see the food next to the kitchen and meet my choice afterwards. the Ottoman kitchen looked amazing and tasted even better, it reminded me of the Mediterranean cuisine that we have in portugal and justi kindly explained some of his history and how it was made. I don't usually give reviews, but this one deserves it.

The waiter Nuri was kind and explained different dishes to me.

A shop owner Zeki suggested Sefa, it's where the locals go. Prices are so low we couldn't believe it. I tried Apricot Komposto for the first time it was yummy!!

Excellent and affordable for the quality. Lamb on Fridays during Ramazan! Must save room for dessert. The pumpkin is great and the stuffed figs are a treasure! Our waiter spoke English.

This restaurant will provide you with authentic and traditional Turkish cuisine. Good value for money!!
