The Beach Shack - Isle of Wight

I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I had to give it 1 star, but it really deserved 0. I traveled all the way to Sandown just to take my parents out for a special meal at this restaurant. We paid for parking and the elderly had to walk all the way there, only to find that it was closed despite it being advertised as open. It was a complete waste of time and we ended up missing our lunch. We left very disappointed. I would not recommend wasting your time with this place.

Expensive! The crab sandwich, priced at £15.75 (which did not come with a drink but did include a small packet of crisps), was enjoyed in a beautiful location. It was a delicious sandwich!

This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink after walking from Ventnor Esplanade. The views are breathtaking, and the location right on the beach is perfect. The service was fast and helpful. I hope to return soon to try some of their food.

We had a wonderful lunch here this week. The food was outstanding and the service fantastic. Really accommodating with our children too (5 and 7). Lovely spot to enjoy the views too.

We had a lovely walk from Wheelers Bay, Ventnor to Steephill Cove and called here for lunch. We both had crab salad which had a generous portion of crab. Excellent service located next to the sea. Perfect!
